In the Summer the Ivers Parish Council embarked on a programme to promote the growth of wildflowers in the Parish, with a subsequent improvement in habitats for pollinators such as bees and butterflies. We are proud so say, that even though this was our first attempt at growing our own wildflowers this was also successful!

The benefits of this activity are increasing plant species to encourage more birds and insects into the area, improving the mood and wellbeing of people seeing and smelling the flowers and improving the perception of our green spaces as being cared for.

We are committed to continue our efforts to make the Ivers a pleasant place to live.
