We are delighted to announce that the referendum for the Ivers Neighbourhood Plan, was passed in favour of the adoption of the plan.

From the 13th January 2023 the plan becomes part of the Buckinghamshire Council Development Plan and will be used when deciding planning applications in the Ivers, this is a brilliant result. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who assisted in the development of the plan. This was a true community effort over the last few years.

Our next step is to design key improvement projects for the Ivers and again this will be done through active community participation.

Once again, thanks to all.

Response from The Ivers Parish Council to the Examiner’s Questions

The Examiner requested, if possible, a joint response from the parish council and Buckinghamshire Council. Regrettably there was not time to negotiate a joint response and the parish council has amended the comments drafted by Buckinghamshire Council but has not been able to “agree” those amendments with Buckinghamshire. Those comments are left in red text in the first of the documents below. The second document is the a copy of the Buckinghamshire Council Regulation 16 response to the draft Neighbourhood Plan which has been annotated with the parish council’s comments.
