The Parish Council recently replaced the button seats on the Overhead Carousel play equipment in Iver Recreation Ground. Unfortunately, within about 10 days these have been vandalised again and severely damaged. We believe irresponsible dog owners may allow dogs to hang from the seats and then swing the carousel round.
As a result of the further damage caused by a few that spoil it for other users who use the equipment responsibly, the equipment has been removed from use with immediate effect.
We will be investigating the matter as best as we can to establish how this has happened.
