Platinum Jubilee Events

Across The Ivers many organisations and individuals are coming together to host a wide range of activities to help celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign.

We are gathering a listing of events, many of the events are open to all residents to attend.  In future weeks we will provide more detailed information and indeed more events may be added.

We have some events starting before Thursday!

Street Parties

If you are planning a street party, please see the Buckinghamshire Council website for information about what you have to do.  You may need to formally apply for a temporary street closure and this needs to be completed by 6 May 2022.  https://www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/community-and-safety/the-queens-platinum-jubilee/street-party-guidance/

Please note, that we will not be including information about location or dates of street parties as part of the Parish information.

Bunting is a traditional decoration for our outdoor celebrations.  But let’s make this unique.  We are inviting all residents to make their own bunting from a sustainable source such as old clothing or other scraps of material.  Information about The Ivers “bunt@thon” will be provided separately in the near future.

Further information

We will publish an updated listing at the end of April. If you wish to add your event to this listing please contact either Cllr Stanhope (cllr.peterjstanhope@iversparishcouncil.gov.uk) or Cllr Cook (cllr.juliecook@iversparishcouncil.gov.uk).

If you would like further information about any of the events listed please contact the organisations that are organising the event.
